🌿𝟯𝟲𝟯,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀. 𝟭𝟱 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀. 𝟮𝟮 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱.

Most events would highlight the first two figures.

But perhaps the most interesting number from LUGA • Luxembourg Urban Garden is the last one.
 
Nearly a year after the exhibition transformed public spaces across #Luxembourg City and Ettelbruck, its legacy continues to be felt. Installations remain part of the urban landscape, green infrastructure has been preserved, and community initiatives launched during the event continue to benefit residents and visitors alike.
 
📊 With 363,000 international visitors and more than 15 million digital views, the numbers are impressive. Yet the most compelling part of the story is what happened after the event ended.
 
As the #BusinessEvents industry continues to explore new ways of measuring impact, LUGA 2025 offers a tangible example of how events can create value far beyond their closing day, through lasting environmental, social and urban contributions.

We are delighted to announce that the SIOG - International Society of Geriatric Oncology, has selected #Luxembourg to host its 2027 Annual Conference.

This prestigious international congress will bring together leading clinicians, researchers and allied #health professionals from around the world to exchange knowledge and advance cancer care for older adults.

The successful bid is led by Dr Sophie Pilleron, Group leader of the ACADI - Ageing, Cancer, and Disparities Research Unit at the Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH), and is the result of a strong collaboration between SIOG, the local medical community and the #LuxembourgConventionBureau.

Hosting #SIOG2027 is another great example of how Luxembourg's collaborative ecosystem helps attract international #AssociationMeetings with lasting scientific and societal impact. Beyond the conference itself, the event will strengthen international partnerships, showcase Luxembourg's expertise in #healthcare and research, and contribute to advancing knowledge in #GeriatricOncology.

After three days of learning, exchange and reflection, the #ICCAAssociationImpactMasterclass has come to an end in Luxembourg.
 
🌍Bringing together association leaders from across Europe, the programme explored how meetings can create lasting social, economic and intellectual impact that extends far beyond the event itself.
 
A sincere thank you to Geneviève Leclerc, CMP, CICE (#MEET4IMPACT), Gary Grimmer (GainingEdge), all participants, and the partners who contributed to making this edition such a valuable experience.
 
✨This Masterclass also marks the final #ICCA training activity hosted in #Luxembourg as part of its role as the European Hub for #ICCASkills.
 
Since 2023, Luxembourg has welcomed association professionals from across #Europe through programmes designed to foster learning, collaboration and professional development. As this chapter comes to a close, we are proud of the connections created, the knowledge shared and the community built along the way.
