Hosted by the Université du Luxembourg and the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR), the conference brings together #ScienceCommunication professionals from across Europe for two days of exchanges! After an inspiring first day, participants are fully immersed in discussions exploring how #PublicEngagement can evolve to better connect #research and society across Europe.

🎂Celebrating 25 years of EUSEA - European Science Engagement Association, this edition highlights how confronting assumptions can lead to more reflective, inclusive and impactful engagement practices, with #Luxembourg’s multicultural and multilingual context providing a particularly fitting backdrop.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝘂𝘅𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘂 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
⭐The #LuxembourgConventionBureau is proud to support the #EUSEA2026 conference by working closely with the local hosts to help bring this major European event to Luxembourg. From coordinating the successful bid to connecting organisers with key partners, venues and local expertise, LCB helps create the right conditions for international conferences to thrive and leave a lasting legacy for the destination and the wider community.

The #ICCA GlobeWatch Country & City Rankings 2025 show solid progress, with 39 international association conferences hosted in 2025, an increase of +7 compared to 2024.✨
 
🚀The City of Luxembourg climbed 10 places worldwide to 77th and 10 places in Europe to 42nd, confirming a clear upward trajectory! 
 
At country level, #Luxembourg ranks 61st worldwide and 30th in Europe. The key sectors of the conferences: technology and computer sciences, social sciences, law, fintech, and medicine. 
 
This performance is underpinned by a long‑term focus on people and expertise. Luxembourg has been an #ICCASkillsHub since 2023, highlighting the destination’s commitment to professional development, knowledge sharing and future‑ready skills across the #BusinessEvents sector.

🌍 𝗔 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗟𝘂𝘅𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘆

Last week, Luxembourg had the pleasure of hosting the #Glass Sellers Jolly (13-17 May 2026), organised by the Worshipful Company of Glass Sellers of London.

Over five days, participants enjoyed a rich and engaging programme designed to showcase the very best of the destination. From cultural highlights such as visits to the Cour de justice de l'Union européenne (European Court of Justice) and Vianden Castle, to immersive experiences along the Moselle including a river cruise and a Crémant tasting, the programme blended discovery, networking and local craftsmanship, including a visit to Pascale Seil's glass studio in Berdorf.

The itinerary was complemented by guided tours of Luxembourg City, unique gastronomic experiences, and evening events bringing together local personalities and international participants, offering a true taste of #Luxembourg’s culture, heritage and hospitality.

The #LuxembourgConventionBureau was delighted to support the organisation of the Glass Sellers Jolly, working closely with our partners to deliver a memorable experience.

A special thank you to Hotel Le Royal Luxembourg, Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) and Sightseeing.lu for their valuable contribution and collaboration in making this event a success.
