From 19 to 21 November 2025, we were delighted to support the 103rd 'Journées Luxembourgeoises de Géodynamique', organised by the European Center for #Geodynamics and #Seismology (ECGS) and dedicated this year to the crucial topic of slow-moving landslides, with a special focus on Central Nepal.
The #LuxembourgConventionBureau was proud to accompany this important scientific gathering, reinforcing #Luxembourg’s commitment to hosting impactful international meetings that advance #research, knowledge, and global resilience.
Over three days at the DoubleTree by Hilton Luxembourg, leading experts, researchers, and practitioners shared insights on #geohazards, long-term slope processes, and disaster risk reduction.
👏 Special thanks to ECGS, all the institutional partners — including the Ministry of Culture, the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR), the Musée national d'histoire naturelle Luxembourg and the ANR, the French National Research Agency — and to everyone involved for bringing this important conversation to Luxembourg.
